Under Deck Oasis is the only under deck ceiling system to have a woodgrain finish option. This finish option is as unique as it is beautiful. The woodgrain finishes are Dark Mahogany, Rock Maple, Straight Grain Karri, Medium Teak, and Light Cherry.
Under Deck Oasis also offers solid finish panels in 7 great looking colors. Solid finishes are very easy to match to your deck and siding finish, and are more budget friendly.
The solid colors are White, Clay, Champagne, Brown, Sandy Beige, Pewter, Black, and Haint Blue (when available); with Clay and White being the most popular for their clean and bright finish.
An existing deck structure is not a blank canvas, and you need to consider the color and stain of your deck. You also need to be aware of your siding color, and any stone or brick work under and near the deck.
Lets look at some examples of the great looking color combinations with the gutter, siding, and deck wood.
Here are a few examples of keeping it clean and simple by matching white under deck panels with the preexisting white trim and white deck posts, and a white seamless gutter is also used. This is one of the simplest and most effective way to keep it simple and clean. In this case, going with a warm color, or a woodgrain, would have looked garish against the cool blue of the house.
Above is another example of keeping it clean using white. As you can see, the posts and railing of this deck were preexisting white. By using white under deck panels, this homeowner achieved a nice clean look.
An easy way to go is to match your under deck panel color to your existing siding. In this case, the homeowner had a nice clay siding color, which was easy to match with our clay panels.
Here is a great example of matching the panel colors to the preexisting deck wood. In this case, the homeowner used our Medium Teak to match the color of this wood structure.
Here is another view of the same deck. As you can see, the only way to tell that the under deck system is made out of aluminum is to knock on it, otherwise it blends amazingly well.
In this great example, the homeowner chose pewter to match the charcoal color of the deck structure, matching the cool grays in the brick work on the home. This ads a nice layer effect to the overall look.
In some cases opposites attract, as is the case in the beautiful example from sunny Florida. In this case the owner went with a Straight Grain Karri against the brilliant green and bright white trim:
Darker panels with lighter trim can really make the panel colors "pop" from further back, or from the street.
There are a ton of different color combinations that look good, and rules are always meant to be broken. The best thing to do is figure out what is right for your particular situation.
